Completely by chance, Yimin answered a website inquiry for a property and we arranged a viewing. Wonderful experience with Yimin Ge. We own an apartment and were looking to rent it out. We were worried about selling in both a softening market and the slow season, which was fast approaching. Yimin helped us get a price above our expectations, given these market dynamics, and in half of the time that units like ours were on the market. That was impressive! I believe that the key to this successful outcome for us was pricing the unit correctly (as it should be in all cases). However, in order to do so without wasting any time, seasoned folks have to have the “nose” for the market and the raw brains for the numbers; Yimin has both. We hired Yimin Ge on the recommendation of a mutual friend, who said that she was an excellent broker. We are very happy that we did. Her judgment was excellent. The apartment was in a new area of the city for her, so she co-brokered with a broker from her firm who knew the area, putting our concerns over her personal concerns, as she had to share the commission. She went right to work on scheduling a photographer and then advertising for an open house. After the second open house the following Sunday, and demonstrating excellent negotiating skills, a contract has been signed by the buyer and us. The closing has also been scheduled. Yimin has an international clientele. Some of the potential buyers were from China, and she spoke to them in Mandarin. She was responsive to our concerns, fair to the buyers, worked hard, always put our interests above hers. The pricing was right. She has a broad knowledge of the field, including relevant knowledge of finance. She is very honest and ethical and was always a pleasure to work with.
